What used to be an all day café bar is now a rental unit in downtown Thessaloniki. The primary goal of this project was to maximize design appeal and the functionality of all spaces within, in order to be able to accommodate the maximum number of potential users, creating a multi-functional space with open plan design, ideal for parties and events. Our main target was to redesign the ground floor façade of the property, maintaining privacy levels while also making sure that natural lighting and airing are available. This was accomplished by using glass bricks and an electrically controlled, aluminium window. The combination of materials used is what made spaces feel joyful, with a diversity of textures and bold colors, creating a unique experience to the users.
